Extensions Filed

I filed extensions for Federal, Virginia, and New Jersey taxes yesterday. I was able to both file the extensions and pay additional taxes due (just in VA) online, so I didn't have to go to the post office. It makes tax tax a little less taxing, not having to print out forms, make copies, address envelopes, go to the post office, etc.

I forgot about estimated payments for 2010 until today! But we hardly have any income, and although I did go ahead and spend a little time adding it up, it's well below the refund I'm expecting from the Federal return. You can apply your refund from 2009 to 2010 estimated taxes and it counts as timely-paid, so I'll just do that.

Hopefully we'll have some more cash coming in this summer from Terry's tomatoes, and perhaps I'll do better trading. I really haven't had time to pay much attention to trading since starting neurofeedback. I had lost some of my interest before then, and since Terry complains loudly about being left watching William for several hours three days per week while I'm at my sessions, I'm pretty sure he's not going to watch him at all extra so I can update my charts. Perhaps I can fit it in during his naptimes.
