We Finally Named the Farm

When T was presented with the opportunity to join the well-established Charlottesville Market system as a vendor in Pen Park, we were faced anew with coming up with a name for our farm, since it will appear on their market material in the future. We were just going to go with Thorsen Farm, until I thought about naming it for the companies which made it possible.

That would be Brokat (which enabled us to buy the property), and Sungard (which enabled us to quit the day job and put the farm into production). I combined the syllables in those names in every which way, and we both liked Sun Cat Farm.

So there it is. We now live on Sun Cat Farm. I look forward to painting a sign at some point. . .
