Breast Milk Ice Cream

Last time I was nursing, I actually thought that ice cream and coffee creamer were the two most obvious recipes to make from breast milk, due to the richness and sweetness of the milk (although I couldn't bring myself to sit and drink a glass of it, I did usually lick the drops from my fingers after pumping while W was in the hospital). But I never got around to trying to make ice cream from my extra supply.

Apparently, some folks in England DID get around to it. And they got in trouble with the government. Here's the story of Baby Gaga Ice Cream.

I think the government should have let them keep selling it. They wouldn't keep making it if people didn't want to eat it, let the market sort it out. Maybe this summer I'll actually get around to making my own. . .
