Tie-Dye Turned Out Great!

I did a quick search and you must undo the rubber bands in order to properly rinse the garments, so I did that, and got to see how they turned out.

I think they look AWESOME! Much better than just completely even stripes, they look uneven and fuzzy just like REAL BEES.

Bzzzzz. Bzzzz. Bzzzzz.

I don't think I put the rubber bands on tight enough for the gray T-shirt. The coloring on that turned out to be remarkably subtle, I don't think anyone will really be able to tell it was tie-dyed. But I don't care, it just went from being a plain gray T to a mostly plain black T, still just as wearable.

I think the first Halloween event is on Saturday, so I'll have photos of us all dressed up after that. I took some pictures of the dye process, so there's a chance I'll have those up sooner, but no promises. My ankle is feeling much better now that I rested it for two full days. I was walking around today without the cane-- if I walked very slowly and carefully it didn't hurt. When I tried to hurry or walk over uneven ground it would hurt. So I walked slowly. But tomorrow I'll venture out to take the boys to baby yoga. I spend most of the time just entertaining M while W does the yoga, so it should be fine for the ankle, certainly no high-impact moves.
