Another Package!

I received another mysterious package today. This one is in two parts-- one is in a small box wrapped in a Tyvek envelope, the other is in an Amazon box. Again, I haven't a clue about what I ordered. But I don't think I'm going to let myself get as excited over this set as I was about last week's package.

That turned out to be an exercize DVD focusing on just the abs, butt, and thighs. At least it wasn't tax documents. I think I ordered it when trying to figure out what I'm going to do for exercise this summer when it's too hot for my usual outdoor routine.

Even though I'm not allowing myself to get too psyched up for this mystery package, I'm still pretty darn curious. T and I for the most part have all the merchandise we need (unfortunately there is no wonder product that will supply what we really need, which is to keep up with maintenance around the home and property), so it's especially puzzling when some product arrives. At some recent date, I must have been in the mindset that some product would make my life better. I think I'll wait until the kids are asleep tonight before opening it. Maybe I got W another birthday present? Doubtful, but possible.

By the way, although his birthday is tomorrow, I don't think I'm going to mention it to him. T is fully sick now, as is W, and I'm still recovering. I haven't wrapped any presents, planned any fun activities, and I seriously doubt I'll feel like baking a cake tomorrow. Luckily for me, W has not shown much interest in calendars, so he's got no idea when he turns three. It will be whatever day I tell him he's three now. Probably next week. Possibly later this week, hard to say. So don't anyone call to wish him a Happy Birthday since it will just confuse him.

I feel less bad about missing my nephew's birthday when I can't even get my own son's birthday on time. I'm officially going to have to let people know that we're dropping out of trying to keep up with their kids' birthdays. It just ain't going to happen.
