Politburo of the Doma

I finally met Randi's boyfriend for the first time. I struck up a conversation knowing that he sometimes had difficulty socializing with normal people. I overcame that with my cuteness and refusal to be insulted by any of his leftist cultural ideas, and was extremely amused when his charming Bulgarian friend and he got into a discussion where they claimed to be the Politburo of Doma (a coffeeshop in the Village where I used to frequent when I lived across the street from it) and have special "privileges" there. They also tried to impress me by describing that the characters/actors in "My Dinner with Andre" also frequent Doma. I asked if now they were just living "My Latte with Andre" and isn't that somewhat less interesting than the dinner scene filmed for the movie?
