   Whose your Papi?

Terry and I were home after a fun evening in the city (yeah, yeah, we like early nights), watching a bit of the World Series game 1. The announcers were explaining how the crowd was shouting "Who's your Papi?" when Oritz was up, as a sign of respect and affection. We noticed first that the announcers never explained what the crowd in New York was shouting when Pedro Martinez was at bat on Wednesday night (hint: it wasn't a sign of respect and affection). And secondly we noticed that one of the fans was holding a sign that read, "Whose your Papi?" it puzzled us until we considered that there IS a river between Boston and Cambridge and perhaps like a scent, smart doesn't carry across a river.
