Rough Adjustment

William has been fussier than usual the past two evenings, which I presume is due to the jet lag. But he has been sleeping straight through the nights, so at least we've got that going for us. I, on the other hand, have not been sleeping so well. I slept well Tuesday night because I was exhausted from twelve hours of traveling, but last night I tossed and turned most of the night. And now it's late, but I'm not really tired. I'm sort-of tired, but now I'm paranoid that I won't sleep tonight, either.

Yesterday Terry and I talked about going in to town to grocery shop and stop by the county's real estate office to get help filling out our land-use revalidation forms. But this afternoon Terry found a used plow he had to go pick up in Waynesboro. So I stayed home with William, and asked him to pick up some frozen food at the super wal-mart there. If the weather is ok tomorrow, I think we'll aim to hit the county building in the afternoon, then go to Friday's After Five. If the weather's NOT ok, we'll do the county thing then maybe a little more grocery shopping. I think Terry said he started loading up the stand-alone freezer (we've owned it for a while now, but haven't bothered to turn it on or fill it up yet). Since he had the settings wrong when he first set it up, that reminds me that I'd better go downstairs and check to see if he's got it working correctly.
